PUBLICATIONS:
Mr Gaunt on average publishes between 6 and 10 pieces of scholarly research per year, ranging from basic science and experimental physiology research, to double-blind randomized controlled clinical trials. He has, for example, developed and tested a new technique for reducing the amount of pain following varicose vein surgery (see paper), and has shown that the phenomenon of "ischaemic preconditioning" leads to a significant reduction in the risk of heart attacks following major vascular surgery (see paper). |
